Even when you watch this clip with knowledge of the head bump ahead of time, you might not notice what’s going on. This scene has went down in Star Wars lore. During a scene in “Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope,” a stormtrooper bumps their head.
In 2002’s “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones,” George Lucas decided to have some fun with the famous gaffe and had Jango Fett bump his head. Lucas later implied that the Stormtrooper was a clone of Jango’s and they inherited a propensity for bumping their heads.
